Beim Olivenbauer - Füssen in Fussen

Ordered and paid for pick-up food yesterday (online). Then I stood in front of a closed shop. I think the owners don't rip people off but if that gets sorted out then I'd be really happy. Food or money back would both be adequate. greeting

We ate at this restaurant when we were visiting the castles in 2011. Eating in Germany for vegetarians was difficult, but here we found plenty to eat. We ate here both nights we were in the area.

Great in terms of ambience. Mallorcan fish soup tasted great. The hausbeer was unique in taste.

I have seldom eaten as well as at the olive grower. The onion roast is absolutely great and worth ordering. The quality and the demands of the olive farmer are very high, keep it up!

Whether meat or meatless, something for everyone and this very well. Staff very friendly also in between always at the table to see if everything is okay. We will be happy to come on your next visit over again.

On the way back to Italy we stopped in Fussen eager for a nice German cutlet. This old brewery named after Farmers of Olive offers typical Bavarian cuisine. Excellent location convenient to the historic center and excellent cutlet with potatoes. Nice staff. They also speak in Italian.

Food was delicious. Wait staff were friendly too. Food was brought to the table quickly. The only small negative point was that our food didn't arrive at the table at the same time but was delayed. Otherwise great restaurant.

Highly recommended, gladly again and again. We passed it on to our daughter as a tip and then found out that she was thrilled several times when she was on vacation in Füssen. She is a vegetarian and her friend is a meat eater and there is something delicious for everyone

the food and price performance ratio is great. The service was quick and friendly. Despite Corona, we didn't have to wait and the interior was kept very well separated and kept clean. The men's toilet is also worth a visit due to the furnishings, etc. :-)

Nice ambience (mixture of Alm and Roman Market) with a very informative menu. You read on even after you order. You can tell that this house / company is run with love. Everything is great when it comes to food. Unfortunately a bit more hidden, so that we only discovered it on the last evening. But from the outside it immediately invites you to linger.

Super delicious food without waiting. Super nice and warm service and the ambience is sweet and cozy. The prices and food selection are great, there are also many vegetarian and vegan dishes. We have nothing to complain about and would love to come back.

The food is delicious! The service was friendly. You need a bit of patience to order / pay, but the waiting time was still reasonable. There is a small basket with hygiene modules on the women's toilet, a nice plus 👍🏻

I've been there three times to eat and what can I say: eat awesome, the pizzas are a dream. The grill plate tastes great (I had it twice🤭) and yesterday the spare rips were a dream. The service is quick and always friendly. A top recommendation from me 👍👍👍

We dined here three times during our Allgäu vacation and there were good reasons for that: The service, whether outside or inside, is always nice and fast and, above all, all dishes from pasta to steak are excellent. The rigatoni al scampi are perfectly al dente and not skimpy on scampi, the pizzas are crispy and richly topped, the side salad unbeatable in price and dressing. The medium steak to the point, and the highlight is the Kaiserschmarrn. We had some Kaiserschmarrn in our Allgäu time, but none as good as we here. We will be back, thank you!

I would like to rate the food, because after a 40-minute stay, during which we were very patient and friendly, we still couldn't order, that's not possible. You should urgently think about the organization. Because when experience shows that a bar is full at peak times, it makes little sense if exactly one waitress takes orders and the servers throw some information to them every 30 seconds. Even when we were finally noticed after 35 minutes, we got a "I'll come to you right away" and it happened again - nothing ... the tables in front of and behind us were constantly served, I was already doubting my existence .. Since we were allowed to order in the next restaurant after 5 minutes, I was reassured ...

Service very friendly and on the ball. Very cozy beer garden. Food great. Pizza and onion roast both perfect. Home-brewed beer and very tasty. And there was even a beer liqueur on the house! Any time!! However, very well attended and therefore reservations are recommended.

The food was delicious, I would give it 4/5 stars. However, the service and the organization of the service was a complete disaster. One person is walking around trying to take orders and other employees are supposed to bring the food and drinks to the tables. Unfortunately, although it was by no means full, it took a long time to order. We were asked several times whether the dish or drink was not also for us and in the end whether we got everything ... this definitely needs to be improved. One person should be responsible for a smaller area and take the orders as well as bring the food and drinks. This would greatly improve the service.

Average at best. The waiters couldn't really tell us which beers we should choose and seemed to rush us. The food was a bit boring/uninspired and parts were pre-made. Prices are higher than the quality provided. They wear masks and clean tables before seating.

Nicely decorated restaurant! Has style! Both inside and outside. Corona guidelines are implemented well. The wait staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, but everything inside as well as outside was full. Unfortunately you had to order and wait a long time for food, but you quickly got a seat. Both the starter and main course were delicious! To be recommended, but you have to be patient.

An overall very pleasant experience. We sat down in the garden, which is really nice and ordered some drinks and food (Allgäuer turkey and fried beef with onions). The service took some time, but was friendly and kind. The turkey was very nice and tasty, the beef however was pretty chewy. After telling the waitress so, she apologised multiple times, took the dish back and returned with a new one after a couple of minutes. This time it was tender and delicious. Later the waitress even asked if I'd like a coffee on the house as well. Excellent service, which deserves 5 stars! Combined with the nice ambience, the good food and the (rather high) prices I end up with 4 stars and a strong recommendation!

Everything looks delicious, but the local dishes are a bit bland. It could be that their specialty lies elsewhere on the menu, but our two dishes, while fine, did not exactly wow us.

Very nice interior and delicious spareribs. Bruschetta on spelt bread, which is ideal for someone with a wheat allergy.

Food is excellent and plentiful, staff are friendly and helpful. Most of the food is homemade, I had Apfelstrudel this evening and it was the best I have ever tasted. They even have their own microbrewery. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Nice atmosphere. A lot vegan and vegeterian options. Big portions, delicious food and amazing beer :)

First restaurant we visited in Fussen and for sure will come back again! Great food, huge portions, great service and atmosphere. Absolutely fantastic and recommend it on 100% 👏👍

We went with children, it was all completely fine. Expect average and you won't be disappointed.

The food is good, but be careful with your receipt. We were charged extra 10 euro for drinks we didn’t order.

At Füssen to 2 nights, ate here for 2 nights. Great food. Great service. They do provide english menus as well. Tip: the popular menu items on google are the way to go for newbies, with the housemade beer to make a perfect meal.

Typical german beer style restaurant. Good food, great beer, friendly staff and a lively warm atmosphere. We were very surprised at the value for what we got too. Definitely worth e as thing out in if your in Füssen. They put the newspapers on the walls in the toilets for people to read while doing their thing.. funny idea but a good one too. Staff were really nice the food is good basic quality food. You won't leave disappointed

Everything was really delicious and very nice personal. You can also take dogs inside and the have a place for kids to play inside.

Very nice and family feeling place. The food is very good they serve both German and Italian meals. They have home brew beer which is really good!! Overall I would totally recommend for the dinner as tourists in Fussen cause you get to eat traditional dishes as well as high quality Italian cuisine

Good, traditional German food. It did not disappoint. Everything is locally sourced and tasted great. Large portions so you should not leave hungry. And the local beer was fantastic. You cannot go wrong stopping here if you’re in Füssen.

Great service! Very friendly and helpful staff. They kindly allowed us to come in and order even though they were about to close. On top of that, the food was extremely delicious. Great traditional food and very generous portions.
